I made the decision to have our family mechanic repair (ie new everything) the clutch on my other Tercel. I had a pipe dream of doing it myself in my gravel driveway with a low-profile jack, some blocks of wood, and below-average quality socket wrenches I used to work on the first Tercel, but I kind of need this to be done right the first time... and not take four weeks to complete, which is typically been my pace on all forms of repairs thus far.
I've been making better monies at work lately, so it's not a huge sacrifice. Probably need to cut down on the drinking out and instant-gratification products. *grumbles*

I don't mind at all working in freezing weather (provided it's not colder than 20 degrees), but I can't work in the rain. One day I will own a garage.
